LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID
Santa Rosa Ranch Wastewater
Disposal Facilities
Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 PM on December 15, 2025
for the completion of Santa Rosa Ranch Wastewater Disposal System
Project located on the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, for the
Tohono O'odham Utility Authority project number 410-80S. A mandatory
pre-bid meeting is scheduled for December 1, 2010, on site, at Santa
Rosa Ranch community which is located 20 miles west of Robles Junction
(Three Points) AZ on State Route 86 and 7.5 miles north on BIA Route 35
at 10:00 AM. Bids will only be accepted from contractors attending this
pre-bid meeting.
Location for the project is on the Tohono O'odham Indian reservation at
the community of Santa Rosa Ranch, see above. The work consists of
furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment needed to complete
the installation of 2,509 LF of 8" SDR35 PVC Sewer pipe (green), 522 LF
of 8" DI sewer main, 1,230 LF of 4" SDR 35 PVC sewer service line
(green), 4 EA Standard Manholes ( 7-8 feet ), 3 EA Shallow Manholes
(<7feet), lagoon construction, 86,182 SF Geomembrane liner, 86,182 SF
Geotextile Underliner, 1 Drop manhole piping, Demolition and removal of
3 manholes, 17 service line cleanouts, 3,062 SY of Slope stabilization,
1,428 LF of chain link fencing and all other work as described in the
plans and technical provisions for this project.
This project is subject to the Provisions of the Tohono O'odham
Employment Rights Ordinances. Prospective bidders must contact the
T.E.R.O. Offices at 520-383-3304 for information regarding Tribal Labor
Laws. Wage rates for this project must be in accordance with the Tohono
O'odham Employment Rights Prevailing Wage Scale (provided). The
successful contractor will be responsible for the payment of all Tribal
Transaction Privilege taxes as specified by the Regulations and
Ordinances of the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Specifications and bid documents are available by written request only.
A non-refundable fee of $50.00 must accompany each request. Plans may
be obtained from the Tohono O'odham Utility Authority, Water \
Wastewater Department P.O. Box 816, Sells, AZ 85634. Phone
520-383-5831, Fax 520-383-5838. Plans are available for pick up at our
offices or shipping via US Postal Service or UPS. Federal Express
delivery service is not regularly available for out-going deliveries
from Sells, Arizona.
Sealed proposals shall be submitted to: Tohono O'odham Utility
Authority, P.O. Box 816, Sells, AZ. 85634, c/o David C. Saddler, prior
to 1:00 PM on December 15, 2010. Envelopes shall be plainly marked
"SEALED BID "for Project No. 410-80S. The bid opening will be at the
Tohono O'odham Utility Authority offices located in Sells, AZ.
Prospective bidders should allow an additional 24 hours for delivery.
The Tohono O'odham Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any
